Sound Performance: Khaled Kaddal

Join Mosaicrooms to start the bank holiday weekend with a special late exhibition opening and evening of sound performance by Egyptian artist Khaled Kaddal. Kaddal will perform two sets: The sky is high but not for everyone inspired by and in response to The Mosaic Rooms’ current exhibition Still. The second set questions the link between the sound of politics and the politics of sound. [Code03 – ???? ??] uses sounds and colours of police sirens amongst others, to expose audiences to an immersive sonic experience associated with feelings of ‘alert’ and ‘alarm.’

Our bar will be open for alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, including a specially conceived cocktail list available for you to enjoy.

13. April 2017 at 7:00 pm

Khaled Kaddal is an interdisciplinary artist and experimental musician. He graduated with a MA in Sound Art from University of the Arts London. His works focus on the aesthetics of sound with the interest in expanded listening and the socio-political aspects of sound and music.
