Featuring:
Farah Chamma
Creating a unique strand of poetry, monologue and comedy, that mixes Fus-ha (literary Arabic) and colloquial Arabic, she will be accompanied by Maruan Betawi (Oud) and Phelan Burgoyne (drums).
Dana Dajani
Award-winning Palestinian actor and writer, Dajani uses her theatrical background to give her spoken word a performative edge. With her signature style of theatrical spoken word pieces, her poems are a passionate contribution to prominent themes of our time.
Jowan Safadi
Multi-genre musician, singer, songwriter Jowan has become celebrated for his iconic strand of sarcastic protest songs, giving his work a rare and revealing edge.
Rafeef Ziadah
Renowned spoken-word artist, lecturer and human-rights activist, Ziadah will be hosting the night.
